NBC aired a 30-second version of the video during their Sunday Night Football broadcast but subsequently distanced themselves from it on Monday morning.
"Upon further review, Fox News pulled the ad yesterday and it will not appear on either Fox News Channel or Fox Business Network", ad sales president Marianne Gambelli said in a statement. It tied Luis Bracamontes, a Mexican immigrant in the country illegally who was convicted of murdering two Sacramento sheriff's deputies in 2014, to the thousands of migrants who are fleeing Central America, even though Bracamontes is not known to be associated with the caravan.
CNN said it was made "abundantly clear" through its coverage that the ad was racist and declined to air it when the campaign sought to buy airtime. He made no mention of Fox News's decision.
NBC said Monday that in its further review, it recognizes the insensitive nature of the ad.
The ad ran about a dozen times on Fox News and Fox Business, combined, before being pulled.

Fox News, which had also been running the ad, issued a statement about taking it down shortly after NBC, according to a CNN report.
