Heartwarming footage posted online shows crowds at a Sikh wedding dancing to the Skinner and Baddiel hit while chanting "It's Coming Home" and waving glow sticks in the air - with at least one even wearing an England shirt.

Multiple social media platforms are overflowing with memes, fan made videos, and tweets from England fans, cheering for their favorite team. This has been an incredible #WorldCup run and we've enjoyed every minute.

We only have to look back to the last worldwide tournament to see evidence in this; the Three Lions rode into the 2016 Euros on a 10-game undefeated winning streak throughout their qualifiers and many in English media were backing them to have a real chance of bringing home their first global trophy in over 50 years.

The frenzied Three Lions fan was one of many celebrating the quarter-final success of England against Sweden when the celebrations turned ugly.

As it happened, England supporters already had an anthem prepared for this downfall: "Three Lions", a rousing barn-burner by brit-pop band The Lightning Seeds, with lyrics by comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner.

England will now go on to play Croatia in the semi-finals, fighting for a place in the final next Sunday. The iconic line in the song "It's Coming Home" is taking over the country.

It comes as a viral video from another wedding saw the groom's speech thanking "Gareth Southgate and the England football team".

'You wanted to make history @England and you are doing just that, ' he wrote.

Meanwhile, it's been a good week for the inescapable "Three Lions" song, even if it has been ruined forever for those of us who appreciated its charm up until now.

Speaking after England's resounding 2-0 win, Daniel said that the day had proved to be the most memorable of his life.

"I don't know what it is, but sometimes I get a feeling for certain things".
