As Corden brings The Late Late Show to United Kingdom shores, the presenter and actor enlisted the nation's ultimate music export Paul McCartney for a sing-along in the passenger seat.

"I had a dream in the '60s, where my mom who died came to me in the dream and was reassuring me, saying, 'It's going to be OK".

But perhaps the most powerful moment happens when McCartney and Corden sing "Let It Be" in the vehicle and Corden chokes up with tears.

He said: "I'm in Liverpool, and I need your help".

Calling on Paul, the chat show host quoted The Beatles', singing, "I need somebody, not just anybody". "She gets up and she starts playing this song and it sounds familiar and I'm kind of a little bit out of it and I'm looking at my wife like "I know this song what is this song.'" As it turns out, Swift was playing Foo Fighters" "Best Of You".

The two then launched into an emotional rendition of the iconic song as Corden teared up. "I feel like it's more relevant now today than it's ever been".

To wrap up their visit to the home, McCartney treated the very lucky homeowner to a special private performance of "When I'm Sixty-Four" on her piano.

The two ended up driving in Paul's hometown, Liverpool, instead of in Los Angeles, and made stops at significant places in the Beatles bassist's life - from the now-famous Penny Lane, to his childhood home, to one of the pubs where The Beatles used to play before they became big stars. "I'll never ever forget it". They cycled through "A Hard Day's Night", "Love Me Do" and "Back the USSR", as onlookers filled the pub.

Corden, who installed himself behind the bar, encouraged patrons to try out the jukebox - and then a curtain dropped, revealing McCartney on a stage with a band.
