Police in a New Jersey beach town have released body camera footage showing the violent arrest of a Philadelphia woman accused of underage drinking over the Memorial Day weekend. When Weinman refuses to give her name, the officer threatens to "lock her up". The officer then says, "You're about to get dropped". "Once the officer says "you're under arrest", he has to continue with that arrest".

"Get off of me, don't pull my hair, what are you doing?"

Moving closer to Weinman as she backs up, the responding officer tells her that he's "done" asking for her last name as he asks his colleague for handcuffs. She also shouts obscenities at the officers the entire time.

Weinman's lawyer, Stephen Dicht, said after viewing the body cam videos, "I don't think it puts the police in a good light". "I tripped and fell and the cop tackled me to the ground and smashed my head into the sand", she wrote.

Police say Weinman was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, aggravated assault by spitting bodily fluids at/on an officer, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstruction and minor in possession of alcohol. He said the city is taking an "aggressive stance" against underage drinking on the beach.

Weinman's arrest and the way the officers handled the situation remains under investigation.

Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. had previously said the videos would likely "vindicate" the officers. "If they were going to cite her, they should have said 'we're issuing you a citation for whatever, this is why they need your name.' But they never said that", Dicht said. "I didn't do anything wrong", as she kicks her legs at the officers.

"Did she deserve to get hit?"

The chain of events would lead to an incident captured on a separate bystander video: an officer on top of Weinman, punching her at least twice.

Video of the arrest, showing an officer roughly handling the woman, went viral on social media and as a result. During the struggle, police said the camera resumes recording.

The Wildwood commissioner of public safety says Weinman assaulted one of the officers first by kicking him in the groin and then running away, which the video does not show. "Even NJ Governor Phil Murphy has said that the video was 'pretty darn disturbing, '" NJ Criminal Trial Attorney, Bob Stahl tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. The beachgoer said she woke up to the altercation and began filming.

Weinman has a summons to appear in court on June 15.
