Now that the 2017/18 season is basically over and the summer transfer window is approaching, rumours of Neymar leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid are gathering pace. He won the Champions League and La Liga. The numbers that he does season in, season out are absolutely unbelievable, but come May 26 we'll be looking to stop him and the rest of Real Madrid.

Mohamed Salah will be hoping to become the only second Arab to lift the Champions League title after Algeria's Rabah Madjer, who won it with FC Porto against Bayern Munich in 1987.

Speaking to TYC Sports (h/t AS), Messi said Neymar joining Barca's bitter rivals "would be a big blow" for the club's fans.

The Englishman is set to become the youngest Reds player ever to feature in a major European final, and he will be tasked with putting the shackles on the five-time Ballon d'Or victor.

But he's right - Neymar would make Real a LOT stronger and the thought of him playing alongside Ronaldo is a frightening one.

Messi and Ronaldo are without doubt the greatest players of the current era and arguably of all time, but there is a long standing debate about who among the two is better. I will not be better anywhere else, this is the best team in the world.

He added: "I am not tempted to leave Barcelona".

Barcelona striker Lionel Messi is nearly certain to win this year's Golden Shoe* award for the leading goalscorer in league matches from the top division of every European national league.

Ten days ahead of the Champions League final, Real Madrid received a timely boost on Tuesday as Cristiano Ronaldo took part in training after a lay off for a twisted ankle.

'I want to challenge myself and test myself against the best players in the world and there's not many people better than Ronaldo.
