Former Playboy model says she was in love with Donald Trump

As ABC News noted, the former Playboy model said she and Trump were together dozens of times during the relationship, but McDougal said she would later be filled with regret for carrying on an affair with a man who had just married Melania the previous year - and just after she gave birth to their son, Barron.
In the course of a press conference with CNN's Anderson Cooper that broadcast Thursday evening, Karen McDougal claimed Trump attempted to pay her immediately after their initial sex-related rendezvous in a cottage in the Beverly Hills Hotels and Resort during 2006.
Karen is now suing and, it appears, is ready to tell her story.
"McDougal, whenever she was questioned just what she might say to Melania Trump, said", What can you say except, I'm sorry?" "I'm really sorry for that". She actually made a comment like, wow, this guy is really into you. "I'm not that kind of girl, '" McDougal recalled.
"I think somebody's lying, and I can tell you it's not me", McDougal said. "I want it to be right".
McDougal said that she was in love with Trump at the time and claimed Trump's feelings were reciprocal.
"I just couldn't wait to get out of the apartment", she said.
"It's the one he said he always stayed at".
"I don't even know how to describe the look on my face", she said. But that's where we went every time.
" Well, after we had been intimate, he, he tried to pay me".
Asked about Trump's denials, McDougal said, "I guess I understand because he's trying to protect his family, his image, things like that". I'm not out to make money on this. But number two, I thought, does he think I'm in this for money or why I'm here tonight?
She also described herself in the interview as a Trump-voting Republican.
Now Karen, who said her lawyer at the time, Keith Davidson, secretly negotiated with Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen on the magazine deal, wants to be free to tell her side of the story.
She is asking the court to declare the agreement null and void, saying she was tricked into signing it, that it was meant to illegally influence the 2016 election and because it violates public policy against using threats of legal action to get someone to stay silent on issues of public concern.
Thursday's sitdown is McDougal's first televised interview since she filed a lawsuit earlier this week against American Media Inc., the company that owns The National Enquirer, to be released from an agreement with the company.
Shortly before the presidential election, The Wall Street Journalpublished a story that said American Media Inc. paid $150,000 to McDougal, but did not run her story in a tabloid maneuver known as "catch and kill".
Karen McDougal is getting a new round of viral attention, with pictures of the Playboy model spreading across the internet including one that shows her smiling alongside alleged affair partner Donald Trump while he's at a party with both his wife and daughter.
