Although the long-awaited "Kingdom Hearts 3" has no official release date within 2018, D23 Expo Japan just dropped a brand new glimpse of the video game.
Perhaps most importantly the trailer carries an important tagline at its conclusion - Coming 2018.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is expected to be released sometime this year on Xbox One and PS4.
The series, a collaborative effort between Disney Interactive and Square Enix, last received a mainline entry (Kingdom Hearts II) in 2006, though side stories and gap-filling games have released since. The Keyblade wielder Vanitas from "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep" will also be part of the story.
