Gernot Rohr's will wear the shirts for the first time on March 23 when they face Poland in a friendly in Warsaw before the commencement of their World Cup campaign against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium on June 16.

As was leaked earlier in the week, the home strip sees a return to the traditional white shirt/navy shorts/white socks arrangement, though there is little of note beyond that.

Today, at their global launch event, Nike Football has revealed the new threads which Nigeria will be wearing at this year's upcoming World Cup in Russian Federation.

They also claim that while the lettering and numbering is rendered in a custom font, they are informed by Johnston and Gil Sans - two "quintessentially English" fonts that are used on both overground railways and the London Underground.

Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director Pete Hoppins said: "Our goal was to create a range of products that even without an England crest or Nike Swoosh, would still instantly look like an England collection".

Take a look through the gallery above to see the new England 2018 World Cup kits and some of the best reactions to it from fans.

"That classic identity, with a modern edge added, is imperative to the whole collection".

Some were less enthused, if only jokingly...
